Hypertension Prescription

Just got out of the hospital.

Original Symptoms: slight facial and arm tremors, BP escalating to 160/130, constant vomit feel, cold hands (vampire? LOLZ)

Diagnosis: Hypertensive at 27 (too young, eh)

Causes: stress, stress, mama's humba, less exercise, hypertension family history on both sides

Prescription: Lower cholesterol. Increase sodium. Lower sugar levels.

So here I am eating my very healthy oatmeal-mango-eggwhite-water diet, trying to re-live memories of warm brownie cups on weekends, Potato chips whilst watching One Tree Hill reruns and chocolate madness. Gone are the days.

I guess, what I'm trying to say is the one everyone says: Live a balanced diet. Stop for a moment. Breathe a little and enjoy life.

A week without work-- I realized that Lito will be a great husband (he was the one who took care of me at the hosp); I got my hair trimmed and dyed, I decided to join the Sinulog photo mardi gras with lots of sun protection and vitamins and spent a lot time with my family and Lito. Guess what? I lost 2lbs in a week, I felt lighter and I am happier.

New Prescription: Balanced diet (a little bit of here and there); Breathe from work. Be happy. :)

I'm better now.
