First Glimpse

You're so clear and unclear,

I often wonder if you can hear.

You're so tiny, so small,

And yet you're loved by all.

I can't wait to hold your hand

And take you to the beach and play in the sand.

To hear your first cry,

And sing you a lullaby.

To hold you in my arms,

And shield you from all harm.

To love you no matter what,

To place a band-aid on your first cut.

To see your eyes and hair,

And touch your skin  so fair.

To love you for you, 

and you love me for me,

That's the kind of mother I want to be!

June 4, 2011- Lito and I went to SM to have my very first TV Ultrasound. I was so scared but the doctor had such a soothing voice, my fears all went away. When the doctor said, "That's your baby...Congratulations, you're really pregnant", it's as if the whole world stopped for a moment. Lito was there holding my hand and we stared at the monitor. It was so small, tiny and miraculous. And the doctor was amused because it was moving. Lito tried moving too and the baby moved as well. It's like following Lito's steps.This day, I felt so protective of myself because there's really someone in there. I am going to be a mom. No words could ever express the warmth and happiness I felt. 

Soon, we will now if it will be a boy or a girl. I can't wait. For the meantime, stay cozy there baby.. MOmmy and Daddy will take care of you... Love you baby!
