Today, i welcome you to that other lifetime

That we used to wish we could be in someday

That fantasy place where you said you’d wait

Where you and i could be together every day

THIS is that someday we were wondering

When the hurt and “holding on” stops  altogether

This is that moment that we stop hoping

Because we finally know, we are meant for each other

THIS is that world we wondered what “meant to be” feels

When ‘what-ifs’ and ‘hope-so’s’ end

No more wondering who else is holding you

And  who else is loving you.. no one else but me and you

So this is what love feels on the other end

This is what life has in store for us after all

So today, here, take these chances
